Vaave Magic as a Service: How NICMAR Leveraged Vaave’s Expertise to Build an Updated Alumni Database 

National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), Pune, now has 3500 new, insight-based alumni profiles on their alumni portal. These profiles were built using Vaave Magic as a Service, an additional database building offering in 30 days. Vaave Magic generated deep, quantifiable alumni insights from the built profiles, helping the university with alumni engagement. 

University’s Background & Challenges 

When the management of NICMAR planned on building an updated alumni database, they realized that alumni were not updating their profile details on the portal and some alumni’s details were unavailable. Crucial information like place of work, designation, and work experience were missing from the current member profiles, making it difficult for the university to completely engage the alumni. The university couldn’t come up with any resources or expertise to find missing alumni or collect updated alumni information of the existing portal members, which was crucial to database building.
